Sugabi Clinic in Ragama is a private clinic dedicated entirely to women's health, led by a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist.

Because the clinic works only in women's health, care is focused on one field rather than spread across many — from adolescence through the reproductive years, pregnancy, and the menopause and beyond.

Areas of care

Gynaecology — assessment and treatment of conditions including fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, menstrual problems and menopause.

Obstetric care — antenatal care through pregnancy, delivery planning and postnatal follow-up.

Fertility — assessment of difficulty conceiving for both partners, investigation, and treatment including ovulation induction.

Family planning and sexual health — discussion of all contraceptive options, including fitting of implants and coils.

Cancer screening — cervical screening and assessment of symptoms that need investigating.

Birth planning

Every woman's preferences for her delivery are different. Where a birth plan is wanted, it is discussed and agreed together, so that expectations are clear in advance — while recognising that labour is not always predictable and plans sometimes need to change for good reasons.

Appointments

The clinic runs daily sessions with short waiting times, and same-day appointments are available for urgent matters.

Patient information

This site carries a library of patient-information articles covering pregnancy, gynaecological conditions, fertility and contraception, written in plain language and reviewed by a consultant. They are free to read, and are intended to be useful whether or not you are a patient here.
