Who writes and reviews the content

Content is drafted against published clinical guidance and reviewed by Dr Chaminda Mathota, MBBS, MD, DRCOG, DOWH, MRCPI, FRCOG, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. No page is published without clinical review.

Sources and referencing

Every quantitative claim — a risk figure, a recovery time, a success rate — is referenced to a citable source in Vancouver style with a live link, and carries the date it was last checked. Where published figures may not reflect local practice, the wording says so.

Review cycle

Each page shows its version, first-published date, last-reviewed date and next review due date. Pages are re-reviewed on schedule, and earlier if guidance changes.

Independence

This guide is patient information, not advertising. It does not name hospitals, compare providers, or make promotional claims.
